HOW WE ARE IMPACTING OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH FOOD

We are driven by Fresh Food. Our mission is to teach that healthy eating is intrinsically tied to producing and accessing fresh food. We teach our community how to grow fresh food on our family farm (Yass'e Farms) or through one of our partner farms in South Carolina.

STEP 1: Produce Fresh Food
STEP 2: Prepare Fresh Food

We do more than just grow food. We work with our community to teach healthy meal preparation through workshops and events that include a selection of healthy recipes with fresh produce grown by us!

Our Mission is to Teach How to Grow & Prepare Healthy Meals using Fresh Food. We work with our Community, Sponsors, Donors, Families, Teachers, Schools & Local Initiatives to lead in Our Efforts to Meaningful Changes in Our Food Systems through Direct & Impactful Projects in Environmental Self-Sustainability.

OUR 'GROWIN SOMETHING GREEN' RAISED BED GARDEN PROGRAM AT LOCAL SCHOOLS

Installations Available Fall & Spring

We work with local schools, adult-care and child-care community centers, and special programming to install a 6x foot metal raised bed in a green area on the campus. Not only does this work to "beautify" the local area, but also provides a hands-on, outdoor experience for children and seniors!

COMMUNITY PROGRAMMING

We partner with non-profits, community initiatives, community development projects, and schools to expand our education in farming and culinary. Click on the 'Our Work' tab to see all of our collaborative projects so far!
